Concept Theme
Ronin, in ancient Japan, referred to samurai who had lost their lords and wandered aimlessly. Over time, the term came to symbolize people who left their registered homeland to roam in foreign lands.
This creation draws its inspiration from the wave of “Ronin culture” that emerged in Hong Kong starting in 1997. It reflects the theme of exploring various places in search of one’s own Homeland.
