Blessings from the UK
To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Hario UK collaborated with local artists and use the V60 as a canvas, allowing them to create their own interpretations of this classic dripper. The three featured artists—Cadi Lane, Hestie Roodt, and Naomi Bailey—crafted six V60 drippers in diverse styles.

Three Styles, Six Feelings
Each dripper presents a unique style, with the artists capturing their perspectives of London and Hario, offering their best wishes for Hario’s centenary.

Cardi Lane
Cadi Lane is a designer from Cardiff, Wales, and also works part-time as a barista at Hard Lines Coffee Roastery.

Designs that Bring a Smile
When conceptualizing the V60 design, she believed it was essential to create something “that people would enjoy seeing while brewing coffee.” This led to the creation of four vibrant, whimsical designs.

Hestie Roodt
Hestie Roodt is an artist from London and currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Square Mile Coffee Roastery.
Her work draws inspiration from traditional royal porcelain. She believes that white porcelain adorned with blue patterns represents the simplest yet most ceremonial design, aligning perfectly with her impressions of Hario.
The combination of curves and porcelain Her pieces utilize curves extensively, making the dripper both elegant and lively, striking the right balance.

Easter Eggs in the Dripper
Her playful lines on the V60 showcase London as a continuously evolving, “unfinished” city. One of her favorite details is the red helicopter often seen in London—can you spot it?
