The Moka pot, also known as a steam brewing coffee maker, originated in Italy. This particular model is manufactured by G.A.T. as part of their Futura series. Made from high-quality stainless steel, it features stylish red accents. This coffee maker is compatible with direct heat sources like gas stoves, ceramic hobs, electric stoves and ceramic cookers, and can also be used on induction cooktops and hot plates. For first-time use, it is essential to wash the pot with water and brew at least three cups of coffee, which should be discarded (not for drinking).

Enjoy Espresso Easily

To brew, fill the lower chamber with 140ml of water, add 20g of coffee grounds to the filter basket, and gently press the coffee down with a measuring spoon. Then, securely screw on the upper chamber. Heat on direct flame while the lid is open; once the water boils and coffee begins to extract, turn off the heat and wait for the extraction to complete.
