The MHW-3BOMBER Black Box electric scale features four modes to accommodate various brewing needs. It has high sensitivity and clear display. An included heat-resistant mat prevents water droplets from remaining on the scale surface; when inverted, the mat can also support a portafilter.

PR1 Automatic Timing Mode: Place the pour-over setup on the Black Box, add coffee grounds, and wait for the scale to automatically zero out before adding water. The scale will start timing automatically. PR2 Manual Mode: Users can manually zero out and start timing. PR3 Espresso Mode: Place an espresso cup on the Black Box, which will automatically zero out. Timing and weight measurement will begin as the coffee flows into the cup. PR4 Ratio Mode: Place the pour-over setup on the Black Box, add coffee grounds, and manually zero out once the weight stabilizes. The scale will display the number 1 in the ratio area. After you start pouring water, the Black Box will automatically time and the ratio value will adjust based on the amount of water added.
